Special Community Meeting – Help protect LCC’s program funding!

The Longfellow Community Council (LCC) will be holding a special community meeting on Wednesday, December 14th to close out all Phase I Neighborhood Revitalization Program (NRP) funding contracts.

The NRP will officially close its doors on December 31st, 2011.  As of January 1, 2012, all NRP funding will be administered to neighborhood organizations through the City of Minneapolis Neighborhood and Community Relations Department (NCRD).  The transition from NRP to NCRD may result in delays and other disruptions of NRP funding.

LCC requires a community vote of residents to close out Phase I contracts and transfer funding to new Phase II contracts.  We need your participation!  In order to pass this Plan Modification, we need at least 30 attendees who live, work or play in the neighborhood.  The meeting is only an hour and snacks will be provided.

The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Minnehaha Academy, North Campus located at 3100 West River Road Parkway.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Melanie at 612-722-4529      .
