Monday July 8
River Gorge Committee will be meeting from 6:30-8pm at Hiawatha School Park (4305 E 42nd St). The meeting will be focused on planning the Share the Gorge event.

Neighborhood Development Committee will be meeting 6:30-8pm at the LCC Office (2727 26th Ave S).

Tuesday July 9
Longfellow Faith Forum will be meeting 12-1:30pm at Christ Church Lutheran (3244 34th Ave S). A community meal will be served. Email JoAnna Lund for details (joannalund@longfellow.org).

Minneapolis Public Schools is holding an interview fair for a Child Care Assistant position, Food Service Assistants position, and a Prep Cook position. The interviews will take place 9am-3pm at the Davis Center (1250 W. Broadway Ave). An online application must be completed here. Please bring a cover letter and resume. Thursday July 11
Longfellow Business Association is meeting 1:30-2:30pm at Minnehaha Community Church (Minnehaha Ave & 41st St). There will be a presentation on plans for the reconstruction of Minnehaha Avenue.

A community meeting to discuss Minnehaha Ave Reconstruction will take place 5-7pm at Minnehaha Communion Lutheran Church (4101 37th Ave S). More information here. Another meeting will take place on July 17th.

Gandhi Mahal is hosting an event to kick off their Kickstarter Fundraiser. Delicious farm fresh food, a farm tour, live music, door prizes, T-shirt printing, kids activities, and a cash bar! Come learn about how the HECUA/Gandhi Mahal partnership is working to create a sustainable, fair, farm-to-restaurant system. In order to do this, they need funds for bikes, rickshaws, tools, coordination, and more! All proceeds and donations will go towards helping meet the goal of $10,000 in order to fund the next phase of Gandhi Mahal’s farm project. Suggested minimum event donation: $15.00.
