Dear neighborhood leaders,
The City of Minneapolis’ Neighborhood and Community Relations Department is excited to invite you to participate in an upcoming discussion about equitable community engagement for all of Minneapolis. Please join City leaders from the Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission (NCEC) and the Health, Environment, and Community Engagement (HECE) Committee for a citywide forum on what an engaged community looks like for all our residents.
There are two options to get involved in this discussion:
Thursday, July 31st
East Phillips Park Cultural & Community Center
Saturday, August 2nd
Folwell Recreation Center
There will be small-group conversations and time to mingle with City leaders as well as food and refreshments to enjoy from local businesses. Inclusivity is a priority for us so there will be interpretation and childcare available. Please let us know if you would like to access these services.
As a neighborhood organization, your insight and investment are critical to move the vision of equity forward. We need to hear your voice in this conversation. Your organization has five tickets to share with community members to participate in this important discussion. You can reserve your spots online.
Please contact us if you have questions or would like more information. We look forward to working with you to make this discussion a success. Thank you.
