Public Hearings Announced for Two Longfellow Businesses & Amendment of City Ordinance

The City of Minneapolis has announced public hearings on the following items:

 

Mesob Ethiopian Restaurant and Carry out, located at 3915 Hiawatha Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55406, has submitted an application for an On Sale Wine with Strong Beer Class “E” License. Please see the following notice for details. To submit written comments,  email mohamed.ismail@minneapolismn.gov.

Fireroast Café, located at 3800 37th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55406, has submitted an application for an On Sale Wine with Strong Beer Class “E” License. Please see the following notice for details. To submit written comments,  email mohamed.ismail@minneapolismn.gov.

The Community Development and Regulatory Services Committee of the Minneapolis City Council will consider amending Chapter 364 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances. If approved, possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be permitted for preapproved days and/or events in the Downtown East Commons Park.
