2012 Membership Meeting

Join the Longfellow Community Council for our Annual Meeting and board elections! Bring a pie to share, receive updates on what's happening in Longfellow, network at our resource fair and elect board members you believe in! Participate in our drawing and win a prize! Receive one ticket for each non-perishable food item that you bring for the Minnehaha Food Shelf. Limit ten tickets per person, but please bring as much as you are able to donate. Receive one ticket for each non-perishable food item you bring for the Minnehaha Food Shelf. Tickets will be entered in a drawing to win great things like Growlers from Harriet Brewing, movie passes, a gift certificate to Glaciers Café and more! Limit of ten tickets per person, but please bring as much as you are able to donate.

Here are 7 Simple Things you can do to promote the No Pie Charts! Only Pies Meeting!

1. SHARE information about our event on your twitter and facebook page.
2. INVITE a friend or neighbor to come with you.
3. FLYER your block or leave flyers at local businesses. Flyers are attached or you can pick some up at the office.
4. EMAIL event information to fellow residents or make meeting information part of your email signature up until the meeting.
5. ENCOURAGE someone you know to run for the board. Know someone who is interested in their community and would make a great leader? Perfect!
6. OFFER someone a ride. Mobility can often limit people from being as active they would like to be. Help change that in your own community.
7. ORGANIZE your neighbors. Go on a group bike ride to the event! Bake pies together! Have a pre-meeting barbeque! Hold a food drive for the meeting!
